HISTORY OF YERBA MATE
The yerba mate plant bears the Latin scientific name of
Ilex paraguariensis because it is native to Paraguayan lands in the Upper Paraná basins and some tributaries of Paraguay, more specifically in the Mbaracayú region. This name was given in 1823 by the French botanist Auguste de Saint-Hilaire (1779-1853), who during his research trips dedicated himself especially to plants.

Description

HOW TO PREPARE
MATE
01
Fill ¾ of the capacity of the container with the product to be tasted.

02
Cover with the palm of your hand and shake lightly to accommodate the herb and prevent the bulb from clogging.

03
Leave the grass inside obliquely (one part higher and the other lower)

04
On the lowest part, pour a little warm or room temperature water, wait for the herb to absorb and insert the bulb in the same place.

05
Start priming the bulb area slowly and wet only half of the yerba mate. It is suggested that the water temperature range between 70°C and 80°C to avoid burning the yerba mate.

06
Discard the first two to three barleys, until the hot water extracts the flavor of the yerba mate.
